I know I talk about dessert a lot, but let’s face it, dessert is the best part of dinner.  Not to say that dinner isn’t also delicious, but dessert is really what makes you clean your plate.  You know your mom used to tell you “no dessert unless you finish your dinner.” She said that for a reason.  But life can’t be about sweets all the time, it can’t all be about dessert, there’s such little nutritional value in it. If only awesomeness were vitally important to eat.  So today I thought I’d share with you all of the other deliciousness I create.

On top of creating tasty after dinner treats, I also create tasty dinners.  In conjunction with Cinful Delights, I also have a catering company and a sauces and rub business.  Truth be told, I’ve been catering my own parties long before I ever went to culinary school.  I went to culinary school because everyone was telling me how great my food was at these parties so I did!  Years later, I still do my own parties and get togethers.  I love cooking.  And over the years, I’ve found a few favorites that always show up at a party. There’s the artichoke jalapeno dip and the raspberry chipotles meatballs, always a big hit


along with some tasty caprese skewers.


Now you may ask yourself, why the skewers?  Well, it’s simple.  A caprese salad is something that is simple and light and always a nice appetizer.  However, it involves a plate and cutlery but with the skewers it’s a simple bite with minimum trash and no plate.  Another new favorite is the chicken salad endive cups.


This is smoked chicken with green apple, red onion, and a tarragon aioli stuffed inside an endive leaf.  Another quick and easy bite appetizer.

When I’m not catering parties, I also make sauces and rubs that I am currently trying to get online, so keep a look out for that.  The main item for the Voodoo Sauces and Rubs line is my homemade jerk sauce.


It packs a little punch but so far, tastes great on everything.  My personal favorite is to marinate tilapia in it and grill it up.  Super yummy.  Another item is the dill pickles; a little sweeter than your average dill pickle but with a nice garlicy flavor to them.


Still in the works is The Eunuch, my nutless (get it) pesto, great on chicken and especially pasta.  And finally there is the pulled pork rub.


Tell me that doesn’t looking amazing.  Slow roasted all day, the pork just falls apart and melts in your mouth.  Serve it on a Hawaiian sweet roll with a cider mustard and you’re set.

This weekend is St. Patrick’s Day which means there will inevitably be another party at my house.  Since it is a special occasion, I’ll be rolling out the St. Paddy’s day usuals.  Jack Daniel’s corned beef, bacon slaw, and a few other tasty treats, not to mention the Guinness Stout cake and probably a few cupcakes.
