This weekend I took a little break from all of the dessert making which was probably a great idea since the local weather heated up quite a bit.  Luckily though, I was able to keep busy with all of my canning, trying out new stuff and making some old favorites of mine.  First though, you cannot can anything without a trip to the farmer’s market to get some nice, fresh, local produce and they stuff they had looked pretty amazing.

So what did I make with all of the delicious?  Lots of stuff!  I mad mint jalapeno jelly, dill pickles, pickled green beans, marinara, and a strawberry jalapeno jam.Image

And the best part about this all?  It’s all going to be available soon, along with my jerk sauce, on my etsy store.  Once the shop is full of goodies, I’ll post a clickable link to it, until then, you will simply have to wait in antici………..pation.

For this coming weekend, I’ll be back to baking, making cupcakes for a wedding of my dear neighbors which is sure to be one hell of a bash.  And you know, there could always be more experiments rolling out.
